Live Match
Running a live match
The live match screen is designed to be used on the touchline, one-handed, in all weather. Here's how to make the most of it.
Start the match
From the match detail page, tap Go live. The period timer starts and you're in live mode. Your formation and line-up for the first period are already set from your match plan.
Match → Go liveRecord a goal
Tap the score to open the goal panel. Select who scored (and who assisted if applicable). The score updates instantly and the event is logged in the match timeline.
Score → + GoalMake a substitution
Tap Change on any player card to swap them with a player on the bench. The substitution is recorded with the match time and both players' game time is updated.
Player → ChangeEnd a period and start the next
Tap End period when the whistle blows. PitchPad logs each player's game time for that period and loads your plan for the next period. Tap Start period when you're ready.
